Featured Artist Linda Wells from Blue Earth-Linda taught high school art at Blue Earth Area Schools for 23 years. Retiring allowed her the time she needed to return to artistic creation. She decided to work with watercolors and eventually decided on a combination of symmetry, geometric shapes and abstract angel-like forms. She spent time studying the Book of Revelations, where angels figure prominently. Linda wishes to share her paintings with others and hope people will see pleasing shapes and colors as well as a unique version of unearthly beings. She believes that beauty in art can lift our spirits, calm and inspire us and bring us closer to our Maker.
