Adaptive Hoops is a specialized basketball program designed for youth in grades 4-7, to provide a supportive and encouraging environment for all, including those with mental and/or physical disabilities. Our program goes beyond traditional basketball training, fostering a sense of community, friendship, and skill development. Beyond the court, Adaptive Hoops aims to build lasting friendships and a sense of community among participants. SESSION I - These programs are instructed by Fairmont Hockey coaches and players. Learn to Skate provides a fun way for boys and girls of all ages to learn the fundamentals of ice skating. - - Learn to Play Hockey is a great way for boys and girls of 3-12 to start and develop their hockey playing skills. It is really important for Learn to Play Hockey that participants have basic skating skills. *** If your child has never skated or skated few times, we recommend signing up for Learn to Skate. Cuddle Buddies - A cozy storytime just for babies and their caregivers! Enjoy books, rhymes, and plenty of cuddles in a warm, welcoming space.

Fairmont 3 on 3 Boys Basketball League Grades 3-6 This is an opportunity for players of all levels in grades 3 through 6 to learn and play the game of basketball.  Each session will include skill development and 3 on 3 games.  After the first week, students will be split into permanent 3 on 3 teams.  Players will be grouped by grade level with 3rd and 4th graders together and 5th and 6th graders together.  Fee includes a t-shirt.  Parent Volunteers/Coaches Needed! Pollinators of MN - Learn about the MN DNR Nongame Wildlife Program and the vital role of pollinators, with a focus on southern Minnesota prairie research and monitoring efforts.

The Martin Luther Jr/Sr High School Drama Department will be presenting a comedy play called A Good Old Fashioned Big Family Christmas. It is a heartwarming, hysterical story that all families can relate to. Show times are Friday, November 7th, 12:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, November 8th, 7:00 p.m. Performances are in the MLHS gym. Tickets are $12 for adults and $8 for students.
