Attend this hands-on session to discover how Fairmont Dollars for Scholars evaluates its applications and receive help in starting your Dollars for Scholars application! This workshop will help you navigate the application process so you receive the most points possible for your aspirations, activities and academics. If you have not yet created a partial student profile on fairmont.dollarsforscholars.org before this event, make sure you have the needed information to access an email account during the class (such as an email web address and password) as you will need to verify your new student profile before working on it. This class is for Fairmont Area High School juniors, seniors or graduates who plan on completing a Fairmont Dollars for Scholars application. Please pre-register with CER (235-3141) to ensure class is held.

Free! Learn to speak English as a second language, conversation, reading, writing, and understanding the American culture. These classes are very informal. Adult learners develop personal learning goals with the instructor. Students are not required to stay for entire scheduled time but may come and go as desired. Classes will follow the District Calendar and not be held on non-school days.

ABE is a program that is available, free of charge, to all adults 17 and older, who are not enrolled in the K-12 school system. Learn English or prepare for the GED Exam. Sponsored by CER and Southwest ABE Consortium. Contact the CER Office (507-235-3141) to learn more about improving your skills.

Boys Fastbreak Basketball-For Grades 2 & 3 - In this session, the primary goal is to help young players build a solid foundation of basketball skills that they can carry forward as they grow in the sport. Players will develop essential skills and build confidence on the court through a variety of drills and mini scrimmages.  Whether your child is new to the game or looking to refine their skills, this session offers a supportive and exciting atmosphere to help them grow as players.
